Now, once that's done you should be able to click on this Renderer tab here. And we really want to just start Arnold when we start Maya. Auto load will load it whenever you start Maya. Now Loaded will load it for this session of Maya. You just want to make sure that Loaded and Auto load are checked. Now, once installed you have to go in to Windows. But if it's not, you can always go to the page and just install it there.
So, you want to make sure that Arnold is installed. They may show up green, the textures may not show up properly and so on.
If you don't have Arnold installed and turned on, your exercise files may display poorly. And a lot of the exercise files rely on Arnold to display properly. We will be using Arnold throughout the course. There's also one more thing before we get started.
